Solarriors Posted September 22, 2019 Share Posted September 22, 2019 (edited) My Feedback : Wake Island : A classic and very nicely done, based on real photographs. Looking on Google it seems there are lots of rocky beach on the islands which could also provide some cover I guess. Aren't the US carriers much closer to the Island as the Jap ones ? Irrawady : it seems the Allies are under powered Midway : is mostly one-sided, it seems the Japs are never able to cap, there are far too much defense on the Islands And there was the endgame bug. Tulagi : (pronounced Too laggy ) I only saw this map from the air. The sun and fog make it very hard to be useful as air support. Is it possible to reduce fog at lower altitudes ? The Sub, very nice, I don't know how it can work on that map though. The planes take quite a bit to re spawn though. Most important : I really enjoyed them, thanks to the mappers and modders for their valuable work and gift to the community ! I used to have the FH2 Battle of Britain map and Burning the Reich but to name a few...anyone know where I might locate these from again? I have a request for you. My English is unfortunately not good (translated with google translator). I used to like to play FH2. But now these updates are always annoying. It just didn't want to update. So I deleted the FH2 in the mods folder and downloaded and installed the 3 exe again. Then the map "CMP Wake Island" came up in the game and I flew from the server. What shoud that? Why is the great FH2 being so broken? So I googled forever, looking for an alleged installer. But freshly after the installation it says that it is old and that I should update. I update, he says, that I should better reinstall. hahaha. I suspect it's my XP. No matter. The game finally runs on XP! But why the heck aren't the installers made for XP? So I can't play the old XP game because I need Win10 for the installer!? !! ??! What a pity. That makes me very sad. I thought I might find the maps somewhere without a pesky installer. After all, I am a pioneer from the very beginning of the PC and know how to use it. And I found it here with you, see link above. Thank you very much. As you can see, we are in a thread of an test event for the mappack in September 2019. The thread for the release version of the Mappack can be accessed prominently presented on the mainpage http://cmp-gaming.com via this picture: at the end of the post you will find the download link for the updater (which probably wont work with Windows XP) aswell as the manual download links.
