"Hello everyone,

We will get right to the point: Electronic Arts Inc.' legal team has contacted us and nicely asked us to stop distributing and using their intellectual property. As diehard fans of the franchise, we will respect these stipulations.

Over the past 3 and a half years, Revive Network has filled a void in nearly 1 million players' hearts by bringing favorite titles back to life after online services were closed after the GameSpy shutdown. Only a few months ago, we took on the task of bringing multiplayer services online for a fan-favorite, Battlefield Heroes. The public reception for our efforts on this title were massive, and we never expected it to become as big as it was.

At this time, file downloads will be disabled.

This is probably the part where we have to say good bye. Before we leave the battlefield, we would like to thank all of the developers, artists, moderators, and last but not least every single player that helped make all of this a reality. Without you, it would not have become such a great time.

Signing off,
- The Revive Network Team"

So EA won't let you buy a game anymore, but won't let you download it either. What a bunch of utter thunder**** they are! And probably just because their old games are better than the dross they release to the public these days.

I wouldn't buy another EA game again because of crap like this.

We agree on this matter.  Let's boycott.

1. No more modding tools

2. Shutting down game spy servers

3. Shutting down abandoneware

4. Overprice new games released with gradual DLC

5. Loot Boxes

Why is Ensign allowed to say "fuck" but I get "thundercunt" starred out?

It was missed :D, but at the same time the C word can be much more offensive to people than other swear words.

@Airshark79 you are wrong in the assumption that this is a forums just for 'adult males', we have female players too and even some that are under 18. Also, not every adult wants to read forum posts full of swearing. Swearing isn't something you have to do when talking online, you can get by without it.

We want to make CMP and these forums open and accessible to everyone, no matter what their age, faith, sexuality or religious beliefs are, and let the community grow if we want to increase our numbers and the games we play, otherwise we will fade away like other communities have.

Just keep it PG-rated in here and all is good. If you want to go all out with swearing and whatever else, head to 4Chan or stick to PM's.
