  1. gonna watch some smokes again and try to do them. starting with the most important. edit: inferno (banana) was edited. but there are other and more uptodate videos, too.
  2. when deep music still could get popular
  3. warthunder is a great game to play in a squad up to 4 members. you can spontaneously search others ingame or leave a post/pm here and join TS. playing this game in a team makes sense and is more fun. cmp members in warthunder so far: Druidix Ensign_Steel g_u_l_i GAB8 granatwerfersupe KiNeTiX Ledernacke ROIOR SgtAlex The_Spine Yehiel i know there are more. see you ingame
  4. didn't play GO for quite long. time to get ranked again, i guess ... @dugenjaz (don't know about faceit, but cmp-steam group is up as well.)

    Arma III

nice! yep, need to give it a try or more ... meanwhile, some IFA stuff:

that's great! we're getting more! just keep in mind that there's still a noticable difference of performance between single player / coop missions and a full arma III server (e.g. king of the hill 100+). other than that i don't worry too much about performance regarding cmp's ambitions. we'll see if or in which way the included mods (in one data package ergo one dl) may affect it, though.
  7. as cmp's first campaign fades away, i was reminded of this song. and fittingly things like a 'joy division' were also described afterwards, from people whose names became 'digital nicknames' even later, unknowingly and curiously enough.
  8. nächste kampagne mit einer (dann weitestgehend) deutschsprachigen division, hm? möchten wir das wirklich? noch ist zeit, darüber zu entscheiden.
  9. Best: good campaign, it was a pleasure and i guess we had some fun! Worst: g43 - ... see you next camp Funniest: lonesome tanks Most hated player: this time myself at the beginning. Most liked player: everyone making this campaign happen.
  10. Best: again a bit outnumbered, but won it. Best: it was a close battle. good fight, everyone! Worst: when u don't hit shit - it's wurst. Most liked player: hawk - immer der nase nach und (fast) immer richtig. Other: none
  11. some 'late wave' from 1982 sonic youth' first ep, no-wavey/noisy early goth/'dark wave', vocals and repetition can be somehow 'difficult' but have to be like that last but not least - ein zitronenkracher mit tagesaktuellem albumcover
  12. Best: general numbers seemed good (64+ for a while). Best2: playing more than four rounds this time. Best3: ahaemm ... #ä*üö~'ß-quitting, having a 15 minutes break to then come back and doing a better job. Best4: urban warfare with the springfield and at-mines. Worst: g43 ... Worst2: bunnyhopping. Worst3: little lags inbetween. Funniest: failures, words, saves. Most loved/liked player: everyone. Other: none

    Arma III

take your time! starting something (vanilla) here in autumn/winter sounds good, doesn't it? meanwhile some attraction can be created through videos and updates. as we chatted about it via discord, the two main ww2 mods for arma III are still being developed. so faces of war (FOW) had an update few days ago in which new content was added. although the lite-version of iron front for arma III (IFA3) doesn't offer high-res textures as FOW, its ample content can be used for free. for example both mods are used in the freshly released scenario liberation: 1944 ("cinematic trailer"). (yep, i'll stop for now. )

sounds good. looking forward to that! besides that i got surprised last night as i found a WaW arma III server, running the above mentioned ww2-mods. that's ... (OMFG) great! though only two more ppl were on (at around 2 am berlin time) i had a nice first try, not knowing exactly what to do. spawned as american soldier, so i guess fighting the black evil computergermans was the correct decision. missed some zooks at a tiger I but could manage to frag some infantry units. i recommend everyone who has ARMA III to install the mods and give it a try, too. then (after spawning at the mainbase) you could tell us what exactly remembers you of FH2 there. so i hope this isn't only seen as advertisement for foreign projects. the 'step' from FH2 to ARMA might happen in a community which includes everyone who's interested. so i think any kind of community-borders aren't helpful anyway. screenshots: this is how a studebaker looks after it met a panzerschreck. (polish ground, eden editor mission tryout) allied mainbase on WaW server. that radiostation broadcasts some good and familiar music. ok, of course dying is also part of it. this vehicle in the fields looked pretty german and was coming towards me. sadly i missed my shot. (damned noob i am!) last but not least a prove i wasn't alone on the road, but also a good example for the whole custom- and alpha-statistic circumstances. i'm sure my comrades were sufficiently clothed and armed at their frontend (at least i hope so).

    Arma III

quick (personal) status on ww2-content in arma III: had a look at faces of war, mostly in the eden editor (FOW delivered map Tarawa). after a short chat with @Tutvys and some research about the ww2 modded content for arma III, i see it'll most likely be a combination of several mods that somewhen can be used in ww2 custom missions / campaigns. mods i have installed by now: Faces Of War (FOW) - 1668,4 MB CBA_A3 (FOW-depended) - 1,7 MB atm i am installing: CUP Terrains Core (IFA3_AIO_LITE-depended) - content port arma II to arma III - 3871,7 MB IFA3_AIO_LITE - free version of Iron Front for Arma III - 864,1 MB let me know what mods you are using, also any ideas about how a first event could look like.
  16. first round allies gain the upper hand, map fails, we call it even. then allies win a close but frustrating second round. third round map fails again and is not counted. fourth round map works, close win for allies. fifth round won very close by axis. sixth round axis win.
