Extra Remarks?- Just watched girls und panzers anime. This show should be required viewing for this regiment.
Great one. My favorite were the Russian crew, it's been so long since I've seen it. I should also get to watching the movies

Best: Running kowalsky over without even noticing him in frontline
Best2: Tank battles, some were extremely tense for low visibility and the allied tanks could really keep up with their 76 mills and the 105
Worst: Crashed once or twice
Funniest: Flip tank at river crossing on a trench, get two kills on the kill feed: a teamkill and an enemy kill! Just how packed were those trenches.
Funniest2: (Tank starts flipping) "Oh oh ohohohohohoshiioh NOOO" (tank does a 360) "Alright give me some time to catch up"
Most hated player: Noone
Most loved/liked player: Boogie, gameplayer, wolf and the rest for spending an excellent time together
Other: See you next week!

Battle No: 4
Performance of yourself: Not good, except for a couple of tough engagements. This wasn't an easy tank battle. There were a lot of holes to hide in and the forest was vast. The landscape gave vision to very little.
Performance of officer: Good job with wolf, I think it was good that we threw away the couple gimmick so soon.
Performance of regiment: Decent enough. Infantry squad seemed to achieve their tasks, tanks were disjointed until later on, the visibility certainly didn't help against some of the more severe fuckups.
Performance of division: Very disappointing. @Hawk I think there's a couple important points to be made here, we won purely because our opponent was extremely underwhelming.1- I have seen squads putting down rallies 1-1.5 grids away from the flags, constantly, taking all semblance of momentum and leaving it up to the tankers to do the heavy lifting in certain flags to allow the rest of the team to get in to the cap circle. Stoumont was an important example. Same went with frontline. Needlessly prolonged battle that only counted on the tankers getting down and dirty and into some extremely unpleasant situations to allow the rest of the team to do their thing. When the defense itself was purely infantry and could have been overcome with so. For all the crevasses that flag had some of the rallies were comically distant just to be secure, leaving very little men to be able to enter where the battle counts, the cap circle overall.
2- One of the squads kept attacking to a certain flag on foot from the mainbase and almost exclusively from one direction. This time they could wrestle the dug in enemy head on somehow, but this affects the morale and the performance of the whole team in that, one squadleader shouldn't be allowed to make such mistake repeatedly and get away with it.
3- One of the squads was ordered to attack a certain flag with the other over several minutes and with numerous men, not only they placed their rally so far so that they couldn't possibly get in with major health but also they never once switched their attack direction. I think this is in line with the other point but this one is especially bad in that it gradually faced a tougher defense against their repeated failure against a light defense at the start, and fell apart over a period of five to eight minutes instead of making a decent push and getting concrete results to allow flexibility for the HQ.
There is also that nobody chooses k98k to play with for some reason, whether it's bad aim or not, some of the performance regarding repairs and spots were very poor. Some instances I wasn't able to receive information or repairs over several minutes despite all of my attempts at calls for spots and repairs. I'm here to assist the team and as long as I get what I need I will give back as much as if not more than they can invest.
Medal Suggestions: @WOLFXL cmon dud- 1

This one is really interesting and could grow into something really big.

Battle No: 3
Performance of yourself: 9 flag capture assists! Also I've got the best medium tanker stats overall.
Performance of officer: WOLF was clear as always and very helpful
Performance of regiment: We were good. We broke up a lot but we got a lot of stuff done.
Performance of division: Great, nothing bad to say about them
Medal Suggestions: Isn't it about time we got multiple medals?
Free comments: Medals! I need to catch up. -
Best: Great tank action on both sides. Playing as the underdog in the allies was a lot of fun.
Worst: One-sided battle
Funniest: I angered wolf a lot when I singlehandedly destroyed the entire axis tank regiment within thirty seconds
Most hated player: No one(moleman)
Most loved/liked player: All of my teammates, @WOLFXL @Spindrifter49 @Gunghoo @SturmFlim (on the allied rounds! ) and the rest

Funniest2: @AL-SAHAD trying to win in a jeep race trying to knock my jeep of the bridge. Managed to brake accidentaly knocking his jeep of the bridge. Laughing our way over when @Airshark79 accidentaly destroys our jeep that caused one of my squad accidentaly destroying sharkies tank
When it comes to a disaster that one takes the cake..

Battle No: 2
Performance of yourself: I captured 4+3 flags and had a 2+kdr. I made the most tank kills this battle and went 10/5 against erwin in his M10. However I think I'm also a candidate for the kowskey awards for this campaign. I drove very recklessly against the overwhelming bazooka presence and was a bit too trigger happy.
Performance of officer: Wolf is great as ever
Performance of regiment: Good coordination, managed to push back the enemy tankers to their base in the later rounds
Performance of division: Suffered greatly in momentum in the first round and major issues with rally points and attack through the battle, which scared me enough to ask for some dire measures(you know..), smoothed out in the later rounds, commendable work by HQ in that
Medal Suggestions: Me me me give me medals
Free comments: A good tank battle. I strongly dislike crossings close to main bases because they make your movement predictable for the enemy and the enemy finds it in himself to camp as much as possible within the boundaries of the rules. I take it as a feature for the map even though it's frustrating during the battle. The cap areas were really cramped and HE made short work of friend and foe alike, but that's a necessary evil. Also need to check the maps for the AT numbers, the enemy had no lack of bazookas to shoot at any point in the battle, there might be an error with that or the enemy is extremely efficient.- 1

WOLF, you are an exemplary officer. 100% AAR participation!

Best: Big fan of urban tank action, the map did it justice
Worst: Crashes, though I only crashed once.
Funniest: Wrecks shutting down roads, getting out of tanks to kill people with satchels with a rifle, losing StuG in the middle of the battlefield only to get it back a minute later, panzer 2 drive-bys against shermans, lots of wacky cqc and leaps of faith
Most hated player: None
Most loved/liked player: WOLFXL was wonderful as always, ROIOR is a great foe to play against
Other: Let's keep having fun and focus on a better experience.

Battle No: 1
Performance of yourself: Great many kills, captured two flags with a tank (tomasse and francesco)
Performance of officer: great coordination, great communication
Performance of regiment: it felt like we carried the team at some points so the morale was very high, lows were a bit too low but that's my fault since wolf you and I are two Gameplayer doesn't stay for too long
Performance of division: cool
Medal Suggestions: me me me
Free comments: lets keep up the pace. we dealt with anti-tank infantry especially well.- 1

Don't set your expectations too high. Some are only meant to connect with you if you are either invested in the story or a British/French watcher.

I'm too young to get that reference.

After Action Report Battle #5 Monte la Balanca
in Panzer-Bataillon 8 (International Tanker)
Posted · Edited by Airshark79
My Performance:
Horrible at infantry. Did my best to propel the squad to the battlefield as the squadleader but the enemy was way too overwhelming after all. Sorry for the mistakes on my end.
Performance Squad leader:
Odium was great.
Performance of our 8. Bataillon (our company):
I feel like we got into a rhythm as an infantry fighting force. We've had many failures at a tactical level, squad on squad battles were extremely tough to get the edge in, despite that this squad has done a swell job at numerous occasions, on Rocca, Village and the Hill. I think the setup made it way too unforgiving for mistakes as a squad since one guy could shut us down to a great level with the M1 Garands they were assigned with even when we got the drop on them, which most of the time we managed to do. Once they stabilized they could wear us down in a prolonged battle and frankly while it was disheartening to see at times, it let me appreciate you guys for your effort, some of you hadn't even signed up for the infantry action.
Performance Division (whole team):
The one thing we need to get away from this battle as a team is further motivation to prepare and do better. The enemy has had many tools in their reserve to completely shut us down yet we persevered with little ragequits and got some very close results. We're going to have to look for every nook and cranny on the future maps to make sure we can take the enemy down from the position they were elevated to in the name of balance. I would also like to commend our HQ, they are as pleasant to work with as I remember them. They've made some very special decisions to allow us to use our victories to press on against the enemy.
Performance Officers:
I would like to nominate ODIUM for a medal for being very open as a squadleader, I would like to thank him for giving me a chance to use my experiences and try my best for the squad.
Suggestions - who gets a Medal and for what?
Jonathan, Boogie, WOLFXL and everyone else for their dedication for the team.
Khaine, Odium and the rest of the scouts for sticking to their role and trying their best.
Extra Remarks?
I will be doing whatever I can to allow our squads to be able to fight on an equal footing with the enemy squads. I will drop the word bullshit here, some of our surefire victories on a tactical level was denied to us since we were way too underequipped in all of the scenarios we fought in. But still, it got me fired up for the challenges ahead and I hope you feel the same way. I will be going back to tanking and I would like to wish the infantry squad good luck from next week on. This is going to be a war.
