  3. The Trump Make America Great Again Committee is asking its supporters to vote on a logo for the Space Force f the United States creates a Space Force, what should its logo look like? Shortly after Vice President Mike Pence revealed detailed plans for the creation of a sixth branch of the U.S. military on Thursday (Aug. 9), a political action committee (PAC) called "Trump Make America Great Again Committee" — which is part of Trump's 2020 presidential campaign — sent out a mass email asking its supporters to vote on a new logo. The PAC email features six different logos made to look like mission patches, one of which is almost identical to NASA's official logo. Rockets and other spaceships adorn the other five logos. One logo seems to imply that the Space Force is going to Mars with the phrase "Mars awaits." During his speech at the Pentagon on Thursday, Pence said that the Trump administration is hoping to instate a Space Force by 2020. Whether the United States is really "going to have the Space Force" has yet to be determined, because only Congress has the authority to establish a new branch of the military. But that hasn't stopped Trump's campaign from attempting to monetize the idea. "As a way to celebrate President Trump's huge announcement, our campaign will be selling a new line of gear," the PAC wrote in the email to its supporters. "But first we have to make a final decision on the design we will use to commemorate President Trump's new Space Force — and he wants YOU to have a say." Only Trump's campaign donors can officially vote for a logo via the email sent directly from the Trump Make America Great Again Committee. 9. Free-to-play, money to burn Fortnite is taking Epic Games to new heights, with a recent valuation revealing the company is worth up to $8 billion. The figure comes from Bloomberg's analysis of the gaming phenomenon, with the site's Billionaires Index placing Epic's value between $5 billion and $8 billion. Of course, this is based on all of the firm's business, including the Unreal Engine, but with Fortnite on course to generate $2 billion this year, it's safe to say the Battle Royale game is a major factor. It's a significant jump from the $825 million Epic was valued at when Tencent purchased its 40 per cent stake back in 2012. The report suggests that, based on the trading multiples of major publishers such as Electronic Arts and Activision Blizzard, Epic Games could be worth as much as $14 billion if it were put up for sale. One analyst added that even if Fortnite lost momentum, only generating $1 billion per year, Epic could still be sold for $7.5 billion. Bloomberg adds that the growth of both Fortnite and Epic Games has made CEO and founder Tim Sweeney, the controlling shareholder, a billionaire. The success of Fortnite itself has been well documented - most recently with the revelation that daily mobile revenues reached $2 million, and that since launch the Battle Royale game has generated more than $1 billion from in-app purchases alone. But it's interesting to see the overall impact on its developer. Earlier this month we saw a good indication of how much Epic is benefitting from the growth of Fortnite as it reduced its cut from sales made through the Unreal Engine Marketplace. Not only has it dropped its share of each purchase from 30% to 12%, it has also applied this retroactively, meaning a welcome windfall for any developers using the platform. 15. What's inside this sarcophagus ? The huge black granite sarcophagus was unearthed in Alexandria and nobody yet knows what's inside it. Measuring a whopping 9ft long, 5ft wide and 6ft tall, the casket, which was unearthed at a building site following a preliminary inspection by a team from Egypt's antiquities ministry, is believed to be the largest sarcophagus ever found in the city. Dating back around 2,000 years, the coffin was found covered in a thick layer of mortar, suggesting that it hasn't been opened since it was first buried in the ground. If this turns out to be the case, then there is a chance that it contains, not only human remains, but priceless artefacts as well. An alabaster head, which may depict the deceased, was also found in the tomb. Some have speculated that, due to the time period in which it was buried, there is a chance that the sarcophagus may contain the body of someone connected to Alexander the Great. The reason for its enormous size however continues to remain something of an enigma. It will be interesting to see what is found inside when the casket is opened in the near future.
