Smashmachine Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 I'm going to London from 1rst to 5th August. I'm going there to visit a friend of mine, but he will be working in the mornings. So what can I do while he is working? What can I visit?. Thank you. Quote
Quicksilver Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 Imperial War Museum (FREE) Natural History Museum (FREE) Namco Funscape (if you want to play on some arcade games) Tower Of London (£22.70) Millennium Bridge (just a fun way to cross the Thames) Tower Bridge St. Paul's Cathedral (£16.00 to go inside) HMS Belfast (£16.00 entry) The Churchill Rooms (£17.50 entry) Covent Garden / Regent Street / Oxford Street for shopping and people watching Note that Big Ben (or Elizabeth Tower as it's proper name) is current covered in scaffolding, so don't bother making the trip to see that. There is also the RAF Museum at Hendon, but it is quite a way out from London and you'd need to get there by Tube. 1 Quote
