  1. Punisher

Jesus Christ... I don't even like the Punisher as a comic book character - I always found him a bit mindless. But this was one of the best Marvel series to date. Second only to Defenders and Daredevil 2 because I'm hot for Elektra. Entirely convincing, took up some interesting issues and was just brilliant all round.

  2. Personal performance:Utterly utterly shit. Spent too much time on Arma 3 so keymapping to pot and made too many stupid mistakes.

company performance:I don't deserve to be in your company.

Divisonal performance:Too many empty tanks too much of the time. I played best when I just went off and did my own thing and spotted for the division rather than the company.

    medal recomendations:Everyone except me.

Other comments. This map was completely off-balance. When we scrimmed as Axis it was a walkover. When we played as Allied we did better than Allied did in the scrim but it was impossible for Allied to win this. We saw last round with 1 Tiger, 1 Jagpanther and a Stug at Manoir. This is how off-canter it is.  Other rounds we saw  2 mark IVs cruising through a town.  Other times Kows reports being surounded by MG42s.
This map is FUBAR. That Axis got automatic rifles and Allied had bolt-loaders was unforgiveable in terms of balance. This map was BROKEN.,

  3. Finally finished the single player campaigns and there are still controls I keep forgetting...
It's  a great game engine - but it has serious issues with the AI that mean it's only really playable as MP. It's impossible to keep your AI squad alive  as they just run around like idiots.

Also been trying some of the WW2 modded stuff and it looks great - but again needs to be a MP experience and the servers just aren't populated enough yet.

  4. Personal performance: Don't know why I'm still not better at using the minimap to find the guy I'm supposed to be setting up RPs with. But apart from that, I think I played one of the best battles I've ever joined.

Company performance: We even did OK before Al-Sahad joined. I think we did good!

Divisional performance: Very disappointed at the number of S-mines that were placed at flags. I think I was the only person doing this every round at every flag.

Other: Had a lot of fun this round. Was able to play differently most rounds and it suited my gameplay style. Even though long-range visibility was limited I was pretty effective as a spotter and really enjoyed flanking rear of attacks. Also the round where I spent most of it camping on the church tower spotting their flag, completely unnoticed for about 30 minutes was a blast. Went great until we tried putting an RP up there.

  5. It's like playing an RPG shooter, not just a shooter. Great way of playing online.
Only problem I have is that the immersion at the mission start really starts things off very slowly and I only have limited gaming time weekly due to real life commitments.

It was asked what people thought about a Sunday WW2 campaign. Here's an idea - What about a WW2 campaign during Forgotten Hope 2 downtimes? Then I wouldn't be having to look at the clock all the time, which I had to do on Saturday.

  6. Personal performance: I had a fantastic second round. Think I got my best score ever from spotting. This battle suited my slower pace when I was able to play to my strengths.

Company performance: We are the best company so we rocked but it's not the best we've ever played. Some silly mistakes we could have avoided.

Divisional performance: There are some serious issues at Division level.

Did you enjoy working for the allied: Well it was nice to have a challenge. But this was a frustrating map.

I will join to allied with you, but my efforts does not matter much because my attendance is bad.

One thing that's bothering me is, if the Russians really are the best company to change with us. Last time when we changed companies, we changed best companies from both sides and nothing really changed on strenghts between teams.

That's a fair point. But it seems it's numbers and PING that's the problem, not the abilities of actual players.

  8. I think there has to be some kind of ratings system when putting together sides in future campaigns though. This used to happen in in FH campaigns too. I've been on the other end of it and it's not much fun to be losing every single battle, even though the maps as such aren't imbalanced (that said, I think the last one was - ticket count was just unsuited), just the teams.
Don't care what side I'm on, as long as it's fun.

    • Personal performance: I sucked. What I'm good at was no use whatsoever on this close map.
    • Squad performance: Good
    • Company performance: Good. But allies are playing so badly.....
    • Free Note: Funny thing happened at the end of one round when allied were down to about 5 points and I just threw a random grenade for the hell of it and it landed on their rally point.

    Medal recomendations:

  9. Personal performance:Christ I sucked bigtime. Only when I stopped trying to do anything other than spot did I feel I was getting anywhere.

Company performance:Well having been on the receiving end of it, I'd say you did pretty good. But maybe weren't proactive enough about stopping people like me from dropping good spots on you.

Divisional performance:I thought we were going to suck after the first battle. Then we stopped sucking.

Did you enjoy working for the allied:It was nice to hear the cheery voice of Gunghoo again. F..ing traitor.

Other:Got a bit bored after the first 2 battles. It's a challenging map, not an interesting one.

  10. Personal performance: Considering my total gameplay of FPS since last tournament was the first chapter of Arma III in SP and the scrim, I'm pleased. Computer upgrade (GTX 970) since last campaign helped a lot. PC I played on till this campaign is about 8 years old, so I didn't always come last in speed shooting and way more accurate than before. I kept getting lost and getting too far away from objectives on this map by mistake. Very pleased with my defensive tactics though - had a lot of success with S-mines. Also played on a 49" 4K TV in max resolution this battle. Not tried this before! I think it helped my accuracy a lot. Rifle was life size! Had some configuration issues though that meant I had to restart loads of times as couldn't play in windowed so back to normal resolution and screen next week.

Squad performance: I was in 2 squads. Second squad was Tutvys where I didn't know so many guys... I've been playing with Kows, Gunghoo and the Finns since I started FH campaigns so it's been a bit different the last 2 and it's funny to be a "veteran". Was a bit strange hearing the French guys speaking another language in the squad. (Attention les mecs... je comprends tout ce que vous disez!)

Company performance: Well we won "bigly", as Cheetohman would say.

Free Note : Re. Hold Spawn - I only didn't hold spawn on one occasion and that was just due to a problem with my connection that meant the server didn't register that I was trying to hold spawn. I was plagued by occasional bad connections all through the battle.

Medal recomendations: I think we all deserve one.
