Hey Guys, I won't be able to command you in the next battle (battle 10). Maybe I will join later in the night, but I think you will be totally on your own in this battle. Good luck! Daniel you are in command.

Well I played 1942, Vietnam, 2, Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3.
I liked to play all of them, but my favourite by far is battlefield 2. Battlefield 3 has a little lost it's "battlefield charme" IMO, but still is a very good game. Bad Company 2 is/was also really nice, I played this nearly as long as battlefield 2.
The problem with the newer battlefields is not the game itself IMO, but the community that gets saltier and saltier. But that is a thing I cannot only see in the battlefield series, in nearly every game I play the community grows more strange in the last years. It is like every second guy only wants to put his anger into the game and on other players... and is not playing the game because he likes it, but only to let off some steam.
And about battlefield 1.... yeah most probably it is a little more arcade like because of EA.... they want to sell as many games as possible. And a "realistic" WW 1 shooter would not get enough players and money... so they have to modify the setting a little.

Best: I liked that map, it has a beautiful atmosphere. But I think it was horror for infantry.
Worst: Pretty even first rounds, then suddenly allies were totally overwhelmed.
Funniest: AT infantry everywhere, trying to hunt my tank. One time I heard a german screaming "Passt auf, Explosion!", he obviously threw explosive on my tank. I survive the explosion, look right at him and say "No" and shoot him with a HE shell right into the face
Most hated player: Enemy artillery, damn you really hunted me and my tank like 50% of my lifetime... get some better hobbies! lol
Most loved/liked player: All who played in this night, thanks for playing one of the best games in this universe!
Other: @Pollenz finally able to play without 1 single crash! That alone is worth a medal hehe

Armed Forces Medal
Awarded for his devotedness and excellent tanking performance in the battle of Elsenborn Ridge. Daniel has shown his great value as a soldier, but also his performance as squadleader were very satisfactory.
Good job, I think I got nothing more to say.

Purple Heart with Oak Leaf
Awarded for his endurance in the devastating battle of Hill 262. Pollenz fulfilled his duty for the whole battle, ignoring the fact of the inevitable defeat. He has shown fortitude when many of his comrades had already surrendered.
You are a true soldier Pollenz. Nothing can stop you, not even a severe defeat. I am proud to have you in the 66th regiment.

Don't forget that you can use the 75mm shermans and cromwells at any time. Maybe even the churchills, I will tell you that over CC before the battle starts (it depends on how many tankers show up).
Anyways, good luck!

Hmmm okay.. so just the the usual complaining? meh

I really like that "purchase your equipment" idea. Sounds really fun and interesting.
Sorry if I ask (don't want to start a discussion, I am only worried), but what is/was the problem with the balancing? Can someone tell me in an objective view? Thank you.

Your performance was good. Unfortunately your disconnects made you a little unreliable (because you suddenly disappeared from the battlefield for a few minutes) and I could not give you the important jobs...
Next week it will be better I hope

Bronze Star
Awarded for his outstanding performance as tanker and squad leader of the 66th regiment in the battle of Meuse River.
Great job Daniel, the whole division is pleased about your dedication. Keep it up!

Thanks for letting me know. Hopefully I will find a good replacement for you in the first rounds.

Join the battle tomorrow guys, we need many tankers and spotters on this map. I will drop a medal for everyone who kills more than 100 germans!

Hello Davis, welcome to the 2nd Armored Division.
So I assume you have no FH2 campaign experience and only played about a dozen games on public server, is that right? I might have a use for you in this regiment if you can get a microphone, otherwise I sadly must disappoint you.
But don't give up, you can try to sign up for the 67th instead. They also drive a tank once in a while and can teach you the basics better than the 66th. I highly recommend you to join the training tomorrow Thursday, 19 UTC.
Even if you join the 67th you should get up a mike asap. Teamwork without communication is like a tank without tracks

only one single soldier, but many different duties haha keep up the great work guys!

Purple Heart
Awarded for having shown great dedication and sacrifice to the 66th regiment by driving the sherman and stuart in the most awkward circumstances in the battle of Monte La Difensa
Thank you for your service, Pollenz.

Thanks for the AAR, I appreciate it. And yeah, the first one gets an ice cream haha.
Yes I saw that you had some trouble with the sherman in the beginning. But to be honest, this map is really a hell for the sherman. Trees blocking all the vision, AT-infantry waiting every 20m and the shermans "special" maneuverability... a toxic combination. I think that even the Stuart was more useful on this map (higher speed).. but sadly not strong enough to take out the enemy tanks (except your name is Achtungsnow... but that is another story lol). So don't worry, you did really well.
I think the main problem why I did not understand you sometimes was because I was swamped with too much input. CC talked nearly all the time (what is good, we need alot of communication to get things done) and the fact that I had to manage the squad movement all on my own kinda overwhelmed me at some points in the battle. Especially when I drove the sherman I got too much of a tunnel vision where I only focused on my surroundings (aka Hafthohlladung-germans) and on transmitting info over cc. Maybe your mic was also a little low, but I think the biggest problem here was me because I simply failed to hear you
You have been promoted to Private First Class btw, congratulations!

Best: "Commanding" the admin squad. Holy crap... those guys really got mad skills.
Best 2: Great teamplay and HQ coordination, I asked for help at a flag and within 20 seconds I could expect a support in squad strength. That was really impressive!
Worst: Trees, Hafthohlladung and more trees.
Worst 2: The bad attendance of the 66th regiment..
Funniest: Germans walking behind my sherman with Hafthohlladung like ducklings walk behind their mother.
Funniest 2: Saying something like "Camino, Camino" in teamspeak and @Pollenz answering something in spanish haha
Most hated player: All those germans who were successful with walking behind my sherman like ducklings
Most loved/liked player: Everyone in the allied team. It was a pleasure to play with you.. that team spirit was simply unbelievable. Special thanks @Pollenz for helping out driving the tanks and to all the admins who played in the 66th Knights squad.
Other: I hate trees.

When the germans bleed that might be a good idea, especially if they add 1-2 bleed tanks per side.
Otherwise I would suggest to build a small commando with 1-2 spotters. We could hunt enemy RPs down and also put enemy backflags under pressure with arty fire and small infantry attacks.
That would force the germans to send more defenders to it and with that weakening their frontflags. Even if we don't take the flag it would give us a small advantage.
Nevertheless I hope there will be more bleeding tanks, otherwise it's gonna be really tough to take those flags.
-
That's good to know. I think in the upcoming battle there won't be many tanks anyways, so for now we should be fine.
I'll get back to you when we are low on men and need more tankers
-
Hey Guys, I need at least one Lieutenant. Anyone of you interested in this job?
Your tasks are mainly to help me out with CC and to coordinate attacks/defenses. You have to inform the other Officers and our HQ about our status. Also as the second in command you would replace me in my absence, that's why you should be quite reliable and active. It is no problem when you can't attend every battle, if you notify me/the HQ in time.
If you have no experience in beeing Lieutenant/Officer don't hold back, it is easy you just have to talk on CC once in a while. After the training/before the battle we will set it up in your teamspeak, it only takes a few seconds.
-
Beyers, you show up right on time. I need you as a tanker, the whole division needs you as a tanker.
If I can get you and Daniel back into the good old squad, the germans will shit their pants!
No excuses Beyers!

Greetings, fellows of the 66th regiment.
We all realised it, this Division needs a powerful tank regiment.. otherwise things will go from bad to worse.
To stop our losing streak, we the 66th regiment have to become that powerful tank regiment.
So I ask you: Are you willingly and able to serve this Division as a tanker and spotter?
If your answer is YES, then I welcome you to the new 66th tank regiment. Our tasks in the next battles will be the reconnaissance of enemy tanks and the elimination of those, the support of the other regiments offenses/defenses and also some other small missions, depending on the respective situation.
If your answer is NO, then you are asked to join the 67th regiment. They will take care of you in the next battles.
Those who will fight for the 66th, I tell you, Victory or Defeat... we hold the cards. Expectations are high and failure is not an option.
I see you on the battlefield.
