Im looking to buy a new pc. I want to build it myself.

im not familiar with these new systems. my pc is now about 8yrs old  

My budget is around 600 / 700 euro

I already have a good casing and powersupply.

Current i5 are dead, R5 are a litle bit better in gaming for the same price, and the same as i7 in application

Also having 6c/12 vs only 4c/4t would be better in futur. 
GPU price has explosed, if you can keep your HDD you can take a 1070, but unfortunatly this is not the moment for buying gpu.

What did you get? I have i5 6600K (after I had my i7 2600K for ages which had worst single core performance) and ordered Ryzen 5 1600Xyesterday
