Humledrik Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Anyone else playing in 4K. What do you think? Any problems? I'm not seeing player tags but wasn't in 1080 either. Any thoughts? Quote
Spieler4 Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 make sure "Show game name tags and 3D map icons" are ticked in launcher options nametags and mines gets smaller and is more diff. to see in the higher resolutions. Some times I dont see all nametags, think they might be out of screen or something Quote
Humledrik Posted June 23, 2018 Author Posted June 23, 2018 Super. Noob mistake considering how long I've been playing this! Quote
eXHaLe Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 Which monitor do you both have ? I can´t decide between Viewsonic XG2730 (WQHD, 144 Hz) and Samsung U28H750U (4K, 60 Hz) both at the same price of 370€. Which cpu and gpu you need at least ? Quote

Running 5K scaled resolution via Nvidia driver setting DSR factor x4.00 setting. If you are a fps gamer I would go for a monitor with the lowest possible input lag. 1 - 4ms and 120-165Hz 60Hz is like console gaming on a TV = very slow mouse feeling. 18 hours ago, eXHaLe said: Which cpu and gpu you need at least ? Depends of your pc use or what you are gaming Building a gaming pc is like building a Hi-Fi setup. Every hardware piece in the chain ( mouse -> ... -> monitor ) should match each other in quality or the best parts might be a waste of money. On youtube there is tons of gaming benchmark fps tests comparing cpu´s, ram etc. Quote
kummitus Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 I rock a Samsung U28E590D, with GTX 1070 + 6700k. No chance playing AAA titles with high settings at 4k, I guess you'd really need to have 1080 TI at least. FH2 works fine though, as well most the games I play. If it's solely for gaming, I'd prolly go with high refreshrate one. Quote
