Common sense goes a long way and really the bar on even kicking anyone is quite high. Its more a notion and reminder that this is international community wide variety of backgrounds. The matter was itself discussed quite well on Discord already. 

Like there's no filtering or any other automated means scanning through your messages. You're adults, you carry the responsibility on what you say or write, and that's decided after the fact. If there's any concerns regarding the rules, please start a new thread for that.

The updater was kinda offline while waiting for the new campaign to start, it will be working again very soon for tonights scrim

The updater does not currently provide files that are functional on a server as we have made no release.

NEW UPDATE IS OUT! Same links, only maps have changed, use updater to validate your setup!

Updater is always having the latest version, preferably use that to save on download size!

The event files will come in a zipped file. Just copy this file into Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\ folder.
Choose 'Extract Here' and let it install the files. Let it overwrite any files if you have older files installed.

Yeeh, in many ways it can be a bit confusing, thats been thought of, its just the annoyance with false AV warnings thats pushing us back from doing updates on the software itself more often

The FH2CommunityUpdater is the old one, that has come with the unofficial standalone for quite some time, but not anymore. You can uninstall that one now.

The updater does not "install" itself anywhere, but is run independently whenever necessary from the same .exe.

Did you consider joining the FH2 campaign yet now that you can join up completely for free?

I don't know exactly what patch, but some does bring the Windows buildin certificate store up to date, that for example the Updater and Internet Explorer rely on to validate websites for legitimacy. Firefox for example has its own so is not directly affected by it.
