Druidix Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 (edited) (mosaique made by me on last sunday) Hi guys, As you know, in some days it will be the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, maybe the greatest achievement of the history. On this occasion, there will be an international event called On the moon again. On friday 12th and saturday 13th, astronomers will put their telescopes in the streets and show the moon (and other objects) to the bystanders. For people the moon is something that they often see in the sky, which is a part of their everyday life, but most of them have never seen it through an instrument. Also, I invite all of you to miss the battle if needed and to go out and enjoy this moment and great opportunity to discover wonders of the night sky. You can find a map on this link with the events which as been registered, but there will be more than you can see : https://www.onthemoonagain.org/ Edited July 10, 2019 by Druidix 4
