Asus Rog Swift PG278Q -g-sync, 144Hz, 1440p. 2014 model. Running 5K scaled resolution via Nvidia driver setting DSR factor x4.00 setting.

If you are a fps gamer I would go for a monitor with the lowest possible input lag.  1 - 4ms and 120-165Hz

60Hz is like console gaming on a TV = very slow mouse feeling.

Depends of your pc use or what you are gaming

Building a gaming pc is like building a Hi-Fi setup. Every hardware piece in the chain ( mouse -> ... -> monitor ) should match each other in quality or the best parts might be a waste of money.

On youtube there is tons of gaming benchmark fps tests comparing cpu´s, ram etc.

nametags and mines gets smaller and is more diff. to see in the higher resolutions.

Some times I dont see all nametags, think they might be out of screen or something

More improvement in FH2 than expected minimum FPS raised ca. 25-30fps and less microstutter

motherboard : Asus ROG Maximus X Apex (because of high quality VRM )

ram : 2x8Gb Gskill F4-3200C14-GTZR (because of easy overclockable Samsung B-die chips with low Cas latency)

PSU : Corsair RM850W

CPU cooler : Corsair H115i pro

If you want to OC cpu + ram: Make sure to get a nice AIR flow coz 8700K, Ram and gfx gets very hot

I have air intake FANS in front(bottom), Side and Bottom + air Out in : Top, back and in front(top) allmost all conncted to an old NZXT Sentry MESH Fan Controller
