  1. I voted Normandy but.....

Maybe some "landmark" battles during WWII.

Maps of several theatres (so a mix), like:

    Omaha beach

    Midway

    Bulge offensive (Bastogne/Greiff)

    Dunkirk (map already exists)

    El Alamein

Pearl Harbor (cant be that hard to make it....)

Stalingrad (same as above, we need a thing like Pavlovs house)

Monte Cassino (maybe we can port this one from BF1942 road to rome....)

  2. Best: killed Al-Sahad a couple of times 😊

Worst: my first s-mine after the previous campaign.......

Funniest: looking at Geopats battle pic, my first TK with a s-mine.......

Most hated player: those mg guys

Most loved/liked player: my squadmate Krautkiller, where i failed with a lutted mg he sniped everybody of with his

Best Battle Photo my 100% kill if map wasnt crashed

  3. My Performance:
hmm, help out first 1 or 2 rounds the Americans. I hate it when sides are unbalanced in numbers and we have to wait till everything is settled.

As american, killed 2 times a mate (Spetz), lost both rounds

Remaining rounds as axis, and with the first shot (contact in the west, infantry, no thinking just pulled the trigger on something moving) killed my own Squad leader brcd., arghhh

Scouting, targeting was ok. Flag defense good. Running with faust (30 / 60) worked out also.

    Performance Squad leader:
    Good

Performance of our 8. Bataillon (our company):
    Good,

    Performance Division (whole team):
Winning is the answer to all problems (as long as you keep winning)

    Performance Officers:

Good, Was that Odi who got totally bananas when he killed a lot of enemies at the mill including an arty guy ;)

Suggestions - who gets a Medal and for what?
ppl who coordinate the team or platoon! So brcd for leading the troop.

    Extra Remarks?
Love to see Sagdyev moving around with the pak in the field, total mindcontrol. Brcd for turning the hanomag and facing with the back mg infantery and planes (smart)!!

  4. From what I remember....

    My Performance:
    In general ok

    Performance Squad leader:
Good, RP were fast and OK locations

Performance of our 8. Bataillon (our company):
    Think we lost overall

    Performance Division (whole team):
    Think we lost overall

    Performance Officers:
About the talking; as long as it is information, its ok, but the more I talk the worse I become. Quarrels between players, frustrations etc etc that disturbs me.

Suggestions - who gets a Medal and for what?
    Dunno

    Extra Remarks?
Dont forget the FUN factor of this beautiful game.

Is there a possibility for a rematch of one of the maps we played during the campaign II?

For example: Campaign II Road to Glory, Map Meuse River

Reason: Axis were totally beaten up. Lessons Learned, can Axis do better now? Investigating map balance. Or Switch sides (Axis are now playing as Allied).

Without counting in overall score. Just to get things better. I can imagine that Allied would like to do the same for certain maps.

  7. From what I remember:

    My Performance:

    Bad.

    Performance Squad leader:

My Bad. No focus, running around like a chicken without a head.

Performance of our 8. Bataillon (our company):

    It never felt good.

    Performance Division (whole team):

Lost all rounds (but thats no indication of a poor performance.....). This layout suited allied better I guess...

    Performance Officers:

    Cant remember.

Suggestions - who gets a Medal and for what?

    Not me.

    Extra Remarks?

Like to play this one again, as axis or allied.

  8. My Performance:
Better then Meuse! We, I had all the time the feeling we could do it, hold the flags. With 2 ppl on the canon was a winner (Thx Storedyr for driving me around). Placing AP mines on good spots, G43 was incredible here. Intense fighting in and around mansion!!

    Performance Squad leader:
Stable as always ;) thx Yehiel and Brcd. I got SQ lead for a few moments but crashed two times. Focus was on max 2 flags, mainly Manoir. So nice to have clear orders.

Performance of our 8. Bataillon (our company):
Incredible good, for me personal it was great to see that a lot of my old time buddies were in the squad at the last round. Fast rp's,good SQ lead rp's. Change of kits when needed, those oldtimers knows what to do.

    Performance Division (whole team):
    Team was unbeatable that night.

    Performance Officers:
Was good the hear Odi on the channel so we all got the info on what to do.

Suggestions - who gets a Medal and for what?
The battles were intense, I mainly was focussed on our Squad. So as a teamplayer I say all O.o

    Extra Remarks?
So much fun this round. We should preserve that feeling (even when there comes a time of loosing a battle).

  9. My Performance:
Ok, it can always be better. RP were better, but im so used to vanilla FH2 that i have to stay sharp on setting them up in time.

    Performance Squad leader:
As a quad leader needs squad memebers. He is as good or bad as the squad is (thanks guys for being in the 8[25] Inf Squad).

Performance of our 8. Bataillon (our company):
We had two Squads, Tanker Sq and Inf Sq. We did a hell of a job at Rivercrossing, Stoumont and at last the Farm flag.

    Performance Division (whole team):
We won all rounds, was more balance between the teams. When I saw that a couple of fast shooters moved to Allied I was a little concerned. In the battle we almost never saw them. One or two encounters in Stoumont and Farm.

    Performance Officers:
Clear orders, not straightjacket in the game. They trusted on our capabilities.

Suggestions - who gets a Medal and for what?
I dont believe in medals. Khaine maybe for following me as a shadow to set up the RPs. Yehiel for controlling his temper when I stepped on his smines (eeh 2 times from what i can remember). Odi for clear orders. Problem is, you will always forget a name. All guys of the 8[25] did fine work!

    Extra Remarks?
Like listening to a football match is more interesting then actually seeing it. Nikko telling us he flipped a tank. And after a short silence he told it was his fourth flip or something. Hilarious!

Rivercrossing Flag, our first objective was almost time after time already taken when I arrived with the kubelwagen. That flag was strange enough to easy, where i was considering heavy resistance there.

Taking the G43 proved for me the right choice. There was a lot of long distance shooting. Despite of the bino in the pickup kit mp34.

    • Personal performance: reasonable ehh @Al: I always have to shoot (due to my red wine hax) 3-5 times before a kill O.o :D.
    • Squad performance: good as ever, we all know what to do when pressure gets on. Last round I was exhausted.
    • Company performance: good with the usual degrees of freedom.
    • Free Note: helped allied out (1 or 2 rounds), almost made it once.
    • Funniest moment: as allied, shot a guy, he runned into the butcher/fish shop (1 entrance/exit only), loaded the rifle grenade, took the shot from the other side of the road and BOOM, no more Ornstein. That doesnt happend that often.
  10. Personal performance: ok I quess. it was a long night, 5 rounds. Could set up sql rp faster, see also Other.

Company performance: top, fast shooters and smart players. We use our brains and engaged the enemy aggressively as ticket bleed was on for them, kept the lines closed.

Divisional performance: good, clear orders, certain degrees of freedom to act on the BF.

Did you enjoy working for the allied: yes it was fun, I was 1 of the 4 first volunteers and that was the only round Allied won :D!

Other: "forced" ;) into the function as Squad Leader, you play in a different role. This map makes using the swimmwagen essential. The bridges are heavily defended. A learning point...

  11. Battle #: 2 Gela

    Performance of Self: OK

Divisonal Performance: played 4 maps that night, wins 3, lost 1.

Regimental Performance: we divided into 2 squads, that worked very well. We had plenty of action. Sometimes it felt like we had the whole Germany army at one flag. We didnt waste to much assets on re-taken that kind of flags. Always kept an eye on the ticket bleed. Acted fast as a squad (with the Jeeps) to cap flags.

Officer's Performance: I cant Imagine myself in an other squad then with Spindrifter49! thx

Medal Recommendations: I follow RedBleeder here: Gunghoo, full action, never gave up, enthousiastic & positive. Heya all boy & girls!

Additional notes: that night was all why I'm gaming for. Hard battles, strategy, tactics & teamwork OK. And lots of fun in the squad. Setting up rp was much better, actively search (& destroyed) for the enemy's rps.

hei mate, thanks a lot ... I've been looking for that for quite some time ...

I just got a new rig working with win10 and SSDs so should work like a charm right?

    cheers

Yes, Win10 and BF2/FH2 works perfectly. My rig is Win7 with i5 & ssd, load times are incredible fast!

  13. Ehhh maybe this in not the correct Topic, but to help Brettanomyces....

Start here if you dont have the original BF2 and CD key: https://battlelog.co/downloads.php

Make sure to also install the original patches; 1.41 and 1.5 after installing the vanilla BF2 (maybe it comes with the package from Battlelog)

Then you need the mod, launcher and community updater. After installing all that download via the community updater the campaign. Voila!

So stop here: http://www.fhmod.org/ or better http://forgottenhope.warumdarum.de/fh2_downloads.php?
