    FH2 Campaign #2: Battle 8 Elsenborn Ridge - Best/Worst/Funniest

    Best: - Intense fighting at all flags, some very close rounds

    Worst: -missing the first two rounds, and getting killed while reloading.

    Funniest: -Immun singin after the battle ... :D

    Most hated player: -none

    Most loved/liked player: - me , and our beloved HQ of course

    Other: - Our medic send me a cure against overwhelming MG42`s. This will be dropped behind enemy lines when needed.

    Eigene Leistung: War ganz ok, auf jeden fall besser als beim letzten battle. Mit der Flakvierling bei Western Suburb konnte ich den allierten Fliegern ganz gut einheizen.

    Leistung Regiment: Wenn wir es uns schon leisten können ein großes Squad als Reserve zurückhalten ohne daß es jemand merkt, dann fragt man sich schon, was man noch verbessern kann :D.

    Leistung Division: Wieder haushoch gewonnen, mehr gibt es nicht zu sagen.

    Leistung des Offiziers: war I.o. ,mit dem Rallypoint hat es zwar nicht immer geklappt, aber es war auch nicht immer ganz leicht zueinander zu finden wenn die Schlacht um uns herum im vollem Gange war.

    Vorschläge für Orden: hier lässt mich leider mein Gedächtnis im Stich, aber ich bin mir sicher das unsere Gruppe die eine oder andere Heldentat vollbracht hat.

    Sonstige Anmerkungen: Ich hoffe daß allierte HQ weiß, was für gute Leute sie mit der 4. bekommen. Nicht daß die Jungs sinnlos verheizt werden, wie seinerzeit ein gewisses deutschsprachiges Regiment.

    Best: Flakvierling at western suburb .

    Worst: Becoming a major target after annoying allies with the Flak too much .

    Funniest: the "forgotten squad" of iummun and his men :D

    Most hated player: none

    Most loved/liked player: ЯÖÏÖR for the fighter-vs-flak-duells.

    Other: i`m sure balancing iussues will be solved, so we gonna have an interresting and fun campaign for everyone.

    AAR Bloody Gluch #2

    Eigene Leistung: Durchwachsen, K98 (knallstock) ging gar nicht, mit dem MG 26 hab ich immerhin ab un zu was getroffen. Dazu gesellte sich eine akkute Gebüschallergie.

    Leistung Regiment: Sah von meiner Stoppelhoppser-Warte ganz ok aus. Hatte meinen Focus aber natürlich meist nur auf die Ziele der eigenen Gruppe .

    Leistung Division: Wieder ein deutlicher Sieg, trotz einiger Nachteile bei der Infantriebewaffnung. Ich denke ein guter Teil davon geht auf die gute Vorbereitung und Führung des HQ.

                                Aber sicher auch die Tatsache, daß wir beim Training generell stärker angagiert sind als die Allierten.

    Leistung des Offiziers: Hierzu ein Funkspruch den ich zufällig aus dem HQ-Bunker auffangen konnte : "der Ongriff BRCD wird das Olles wöder in Ordnuing bröngen"

    Vorschläge für Orden: ein schönes Gebüsch mit Eichenlaub und Schwertern für unseren Oberanschleicher BRCD und noch irgendeine Panzerdingsbums-Auszeichnung für Mole

    Sonstige Anmerkungen: Ich hoffe inständig die Allierten bekommen bald mehr und vor allem bessere Leute, sonst wird das einen negativen Effekt nicht nur für die Kampagne, sondern auch auf die Community haben. Denn bislang waren unserte härtesten Gegenr immer das Admin-Squad.

    §3 Absatz 4 ist so falsch wie es nur sein kann ...

    Ein guter Gruppenführer setzt seinen LMG-Schützen so ein ein, daß die Gruppe im Angriff so effektiv wie möglich unterstützt wird :

     - als Deckungsfeuer um den Genger am Bekämpfen der eigenen Einheiten zu hindern

     - zum Niederhalten feindlicher Verstärkungen

     - zum Absichern gegen feindliche Gegenangriffe aus der zu erwartenden Richtung

     

    AAR Battle #6 (Operation Grief)

    Personal performance: Could have been better. i still have problems with that foggy maps :). At least I did a bit better in the last round.

    Regimental performance: We tried hard but often it seems not to be enough. Sometimes it just too long to take the first objectives and allied counterattacks came quickly.

    Divisional performance: Same as regimental performance. Allied team was often a bit faster with their actions, but on the other hand we gave them a good fight

                                      and get them a few times off balance.

    Officer's performance: A was lucky to serve under three SL`s and although he played just one round, Sandre was the most succesfull. I think one reason is, that he knew all of his crew very well

                                     and how to use their abilities in the best way. Nevertheless, i was still pleased with the performance of GABOTTO and our DUCE :D

    To our new members who havent fought in a battle yet :

    Please make sure your game is runnung correctly, at least one hour before battle starts.

    Sorting out technical problems on TS, while everyone is focused on the battle, can be very distracting.

    Best: MG42, MG42 and MG42 :D. Having the first tank-badge of the division, although i`m not even a tanker :) .

    Worst: shooting down ME 109 with wirbelwind :o

    Funniest: Flipping Wirbelwind two times in one round. conclusion : dont drive and stare at the sky !

    Most hated player: the guy that jumped on my wirbelwind and shot me with a rifle :D

    Most loved/liked player: TAFKAP (aka papa aka nichtdiemama ) for his dirty laughs when he made one of those multikills with the nebelwerfer .

     

    AAR Battle #2 (Gela)

    Personal performance:

    Crap ;)

    Regimental performance:

    We did a good job considering that only 1/3rd of our regiment managed to show up :( ...

    Divisional performance:

    The map was everything but balanced. The allied could come from almost any direction and had better equipment.

    So my impression was that we made the best of it : we won the last round and lost the first by only 12 tickets.

    Maybe with a bit more conservative and less risky strategy we could have saved some more tickets.

    Officer's performance:

    Nice job from sandre when he jumped in as SL

    Medal recommendation:

    Sandre for leading the sneak-attack on Gela which was a big help to turn the tide.

    Ornstein for being a one-man-squad :D

    AAR Battle #1 (Faid Pass)

    Personal performance:

    Had some good moments with my marder, but since everyone on the battlefield could take me out, it was quite tough to stay alive. wish i had one of those PZ IV`s ...

    Regimental performance:

    Numbers were just too low for the given objectives.

    Divisional performance:

    Seemed to me that the majority of tanks were assigned to the wrong spot, especially in the beginning. And although we had the better equipment, our tanks had quite some problems to fight allied tanks.

    AAR Scrim #2 (Juin '44)

    Personal performance:

    Clould be better. the enemy managed to sneak up on me a few times. Driving with Panzer IV was fun. I hope i gave our squad at least some support with it.

    Regimental performance:

    Quite good, sometimes too good when our enemy decided to leave the bunker to us, it became a bit booring on guard duty :D

    Divisional performance:

    Nice tank support from Leder and his guys, in the later round we were lacking air defense. but we won every round afterall.

    Officer's performance:

    Nice leadership from Gabotto. clear orders and and always calm and focused.

    Medal recommendation:

    Other notes:

    Sometimes there was a bit too much talking on ts with 10 people in it.
