Awarded to any soldier below the rank of an officer for great performance in commanding a unit during battle.

Awarded for acts of valour, heroism and utmost gallantry on the field of battle (divisional level contribution).

Awarded for sustained heroic acts of bravery over a period of a few battles (divisional level contribution).

Awarded for meritorious and significant contribution to the war effort (regimental level contribution).

Awarded for sustained good contribution to the war effort (regimental level contribution).

Awarded for overall contribution to the war effort (regimental level contribution).

Awarded to a soldier presenting outstanding infantry combat skills over multiple battles.

Awarded to a soldier presenting good infantry combat skills in one battle.

Awarded for exceptional skills as a spotter or forward scout.

Awarded for outstanding performance in a plane.

Awarded for exceptional skills in destroying an enemy tank or an armoured combat vehicle using a hand-held weapon, AT gun or a land mine.

Awarded for great performance in a tank, mortar, artillery and other vehicles (but NOT AT guns).

End of campaign award presented to one soldier in each regiment after being voted 1st in the regimental poll.
May also be awarded by HQ in exceptional circumstances.

End of campaign award presented to one soldier in each regiment after being voted 2nd in the regimental poll.
May also be awarded by HQ in exceptional circumstances.
